Baked Eggnog Donuts

December 2, 2014 By Shannah Coe 2 Comments

Take THE drink of Christmas and turn it into a breakfast treat or dessert this year. Baked Eggnog Donuts are simple to make and full of Christmas cheer!

I am going to share a secret with you. I am not an eggnog fan. For whatever reason, I never really fell in love with it. I think eggnog is just like that annoying/endearing relative that you see every Christmas. You either LOVE him/her and think they are the most endearing person. Or, you have zero love for him/her and they become super annoying.

Baked eggnog donuts you can easily make at home and enjoy all holiday long!

Well, I am in the zero love category when it comes to eggnog. I know it is like THE Christmas beverage but I just can’t fall in love with it. {I even tried making an eggnog candy to see if that would help.} Mathlete, on the other hand, is a major eggnog lover. So, these Baked Eggnog Donuts are for him! {smooches honey}

Baking donuts at home has become kind of an obsession for me. I bought a donut pan a few months back on a whim and, since then, I have had the best time experimenting with new flavors and toppings! I love coming up with baked donut recipes!

I topped these Baked Eggnog Donuts with two different glazes and my taste testers {a.k.a. my coworkers} had a difficult time deciding which one they liked best. I shared the recipe for both glazes so you can make your own decision.

Christmas morning just got even better now that I found the recipe for these baked egg nog donuts! I am buying a donut pan stat so I can make these baked eggnog donuts. Delicious donuts baked at home...yes, please! I love the idea for these baked egg nog donuts for this Christmas.

If you love eggnog, then this eggnog recipe for donuts is totally for you! They have the perfect hint of nutmeg to compliment the eggnog flavor. I took twelve of these to work and they disappeared within minutes so be prepared for them to be REALLY popular.

    I made baked eggnog mini donuts last year and they were a huge hit – even with the not a huge fan of eggnog people in our family. I used a eggnog glaze but that vanilla rum glaze sounds delicious so I am going to try that this year 🙂
