BBQ Ranch Chicken Pull Apart Bread

September 15, 2014 By Shannah Coe 2 Comments

Do you have a case of the missing husband like I do now that football season is here? Mathlete is more of a college football fan than a NFL fan so our major sports day is typically Saturday. BUT, he likes hanging with the guys so there is plenty of football on the tv each Sunday too. Of course, with football, you need snacks that are delicious AND easy to eat. My pepperoni pizza pull apart bread was a huge hit so I decided to try and change it up and made a bbq ranch chicken pull apart bread.

A simple recipe for game day that I know the guys will love. This BBQ ranch chicken pull apart bread is so easy to make.

The great thing about pull apart bread is that it is so easy to make and pretty easy for the guys to grab between plays too. No need for forks or anything like that. Heck, I’ve even seen the guys skip a plate and just keep picking pieces right out of the dish. I served this at a recent game watching and everyone loved it! It may compete with the pepperoni version for the crowd favorite going forward.

What You’ll Need:

2 cans dinner rolls or biscuits
6 oz cooked, shredded chicken
1/2 cup diced red onion
1 cup BBQ sauce
1 packet ranch dressing mix
3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Let’s Make It:

1) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Very lightly grease a 9×13 or similar sized baking dish {I used a large round dish}.

2) Cut the rolls into quarters. Place in the bottom of the dish. Add chicken, 1/2 cup of cheese and onion. Sprinkle with ranch dressing mix. Pour BBQ sauce on top and toss to combine {your hands will get very messy but it is the easiest way}. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.

3) Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the biscuits/rolls are cooked through. If you used a different size dish, you may need to cook it longer to make sure the biscuits are done. My round dish was closer to 30 minutes.

This a HUGE crowd pleaser at all our football watching events. Everyone eats it up.This recipe is so easy and everyone in our house LOVES it. I usually have to make two so we have enough for everyone. BBQ Ranch Chicken Pull Apart Bread
What are you eating on game day? Are you a big fan of pull apart breads?
