S’mores Pizza Recipe

S’mores are the perfect summer treat.  But, with hot temperatures, you may not always want to light a fire to make them.  Or, if you are like me, you don’t really have a place to light a fire that won’t get your arrested.  We were sitting around one night craving some s’mores and the recipe for s’mores pizza was born.

This recipe trades the traditional graham crackers for a pizza crust sprinkled with graham cracker crumbs.  Then, it is topped with chocolate and marshmallows that are baked until perfectly gooey.
smores pizza ingredients

What You’ll Need:
– 1 can refrigerated pizza crust
– 4 graham crackers, crushed into crumbs {optional}
– 6 Hershey chocolate bars
– 1 bag of marshmallows

Let’s Make It:
1) Preheat oven as recommended in the pizza crust directions.  Spread pizza crust on baking sheet coated with cooking spray.  If using, sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs.

2)  Partially bake pizza crust according to the directions.  The Pillsbury crust recommends baking for 7-8 minutes.  Top partially baked crust with chocolate bars.

Top with marshmallows.

3)  Place pizza back in the oven for 5 minutes.  Using a wooden spoon, gently push down on the marshmallows to flatten.  Bake for an additional 2-3 minutes or until marshmallows are lightly brown.  Slice and enjoy.

What is your favorite summertime treat?  Do you find a way to make s’mores even if you can roast the marshmallows over a fire?

    1. I am such a huge fan of smores too! It was raining yesterday so we actually just made some in the oven to get a special treat.

    1. Haha…that is how I feel everytime I look at the picture. I would totally just skip dinner and have this one night if I could.

    1. Hi Heather – I’d love if you would share with your friends too. You are welcome to use one picture and a short description of the pizza with a link back here for the full recipe.

    1. It was definitely one of those spur of the moment “let’s see how this turns out” kind of things. I am just happy it turned out well 🙂

    1. Thanks! I wasn’t exactly sure I was going to be pleased with when we first started. It is really good though.

    1. Haha..I know how you feel. Every since I made it the first time, my kids beg for it all the time. I feel like I’ve gained 15 pounds.

  1. If you make this with Marshmallow cream instead of actual marshmallows, it will be vegetarian. I’m gonna have to give this a try 🙂 It looks yummy.

  2. Shannah, this is such a delicious looking recipe!! Smores pizza sounds like it would be such a huge hit and your pictures have my mouth watering!! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

I’d love it if you linked this up over at Living Well Spending Less for Thrifty Thursday this week! livingwellspendingless.com/category/thrifty-thursday/

    1. Thanks! It was definitely a hit and I was pretty happy with how easy it was to make.

Thanks for the invite. I’ll swing by for a visit.

    1. There is nothing like combining two favorites into one food. ALthough, I think you can add chocolate to just about anything and I would be happy 🙂

  3. Oh my goodness, these look so yummy! We love Smores. I’ve made them in the microwave when we’re desperate for them, sometimes even with chocolate chips if we don’t have (gasp) Hershey’s on hand.:)

Thanks so much for sharing this on Inspire Me Wednesday. Featuring in next week’s issue! Yum!

    1. Haha…I have actually used chocolate chips too when we were out of Hershey bars. THrowing them in the oven works great too if you are doing a bunch at once 🙂
Thanks so much for the feature! I will be sure to stop by on Wednesday to check it out!

    1. Isn’t it funny how, even though an open fire is typically involved, smores have become a summertime treat?! It makes me laugh to think of people sitting out on 90 degree evenings roasting marshmallows 🙂

  4. I love this! And my kids would love it even more…it would be easier than making several individual s’mores one at a time in the microwave like we normally do (who needs a campfire?!) 🙂

    1. Oh I love the vision of you guys hanging around a microwave serving up smores. This is definitely easier for a large group than doing individual ones!
