Apple Cider Mimosa Recipe

October 8, 2018 By Shannah Coe Leave a Comment

An apple cider mimosa is one of the best cocktails for fall! With on a few ingredients, you can create the perfect cocktail for your fall brunch, bridal shower or even to add to your list of Thanksgiving cocktails! Try one today.

Everyone typically consider the mimosa a total spring brunch drink. That may be true for the original orange juice version but this apple cider champagne cocktail needs to be at the top of every list of fall drinks. With just a few ingredients, you will have one of the best cocktails for fall (and beyond).

Apple Cider Mimosa

Between tailgating, picnics and fall brunch, I am always searching for great fall drinks. The best cocktails for fall are also usually apple cider mixed drinks because apple cider is so fresh and easy to find this time of year. Nothing beats an apple cider champagne mix either!

The great thing about an apple cider mimosa is that you can make it with just two simple ingredients. Of course, you can add a few extra items if you want to dress them up even more.

Apple Cider Mimosa

For mine, I usually dip the rim in apple cider and then into cinnamon sugar. I have also added caramel vodka to mine for a caramel apple cider mimosa!

Some other great ways to change up this apple cider mimosa recipe:

  • Swap the caramel vodka for fireball to add extra cinnamon flavor
  • Garnish with small cinnamon sticks and fresh apple slices
  • Warm up the apple cider before mixing for a warm cocktail

These apple cider mimosas are perfect for all your fall events. I especially love them when our tailgates have to start pretty early in the morning and our more traditional fall drinks (beer, vodka tonics, etc) seem just a little bit too strong. I even have plastic champagne flutes to take to tailgates so I don’t have to worry about the glass ones getting broken.

I am also really excited to add these apple cider mimosas to my list of Thanksgiving cocktails this year. Along with my apple cranberry bourbon punch, I know my fall drinks are covered.

If you love these apple cider mimosas, be sure to check out these other best cocktails for fall:

  • Sparkling Apple and Pear Sangria
  • Cinnamon Apple Martini
  • Rumchata Iced Coffee Cocktail
  • Apple Cider Margaritas

If you make these apple cider mimosas, I would love to hear about it. Let me know your experience in the comments or snap a photo and tag it #MySuburbanKitchen on Instagram or Twitter.
