Freezer Friendly Pizza Bagels

March 8, 2016 By Shannah Coe 18 Comments

I had a flashback the other day to my days after school coming home to have a snack. Little bagel pizzas were my absolute favorite. We’ve bought them from time to time but H has way more fun creating her own freezer friendly pizza bagels.

You have to try this recipe for freezer friendly bagel pizzas. They are so easy!

These mini pizzas are the perfect snack and even make a perfect dinner too. You can easily customize these with any toppings that you want. Mathlete prefers ham and pineapple while H keeps it simple with just cheese. I usually add a mixture of vegetables and some extra cheese. I don’t think you can ever have enough cheese when it comes to pizza.

Freezer Friendly Pizza Bagels:

6 mini bagels
1 cup pizza sauce
1 cup shredded cheese
Toppings of choice

Let’s Make It:

Slice bagels in half and lay on rimmed baking sheet.

Spread pizza sauce onto bagel halves. Add toppings and and shredded cheese.

If freezing, wrap each individual half in plastic wrap.

If baking now, preheat oven to 375 degrees and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

I love keeping these in our freezer so the kids can come home and get a quick snack. Simply bake them from frozen and enjoy. Choose whatever toppings you want and you have personalized pizzas for everyone. It really couldn’t be easier.

What are some of your favorite kid friendly foods?

What a great idea! I used to eat those mini bagels when I was little too, but you can’t get them outside of America, and I never thought to make them myself!
