First Impressions Last Forever #PureAirBlog

October 27, 2013 By Shannah Coe 2 Comments

Remember my trip to learn all about Miele in New York? Well, prior to going, I had never even heard of Miele. That trip was my first impression of the brand and my first introduction to their products. Well, you know the saying “first impressions last forever?” Miele definitely goes above and beyond to make sure that first impression is completely positive.  To describe the impression I got in one word: quality.  The people were amazing and every product we were introduced to was nothing short of spectacular in the way it was engineered.

I’ve been home from that trip and living with my new Miele vacuum for just over a month now.  Has my impression changed at all from that first one?  Not one bit.

When my vacuum arrived, I had to fight my son to even get it open. He loves testing out new boxes when they come in the house and this one was no different.

The vacuum is a total work horse that produces incredible results.  My house feels cleaner and even has a different smell to it.

Of course, I was already in love with Miele’s vacuums before mine arrived on my front porch because I got to learn about them and use them in NY.  So, let’s see what the other folks in our house have to say about their first impression of the Miele.

H:  “Mommy’s new vacuum is like a robot.”

What is she talking about?  She is talking about the way the front chamber sucks closed when you turn the vacuum on to make sure the filter and bag are in an airtight environment {I’ll be sharing so much more about that in the coming months}.  She is also totally impressed  that it lays completely flat.

E: “”

Yeah, E doesn’t actually say much about the vacuum.  BUT, he follows it around and likes to feel the air coming out of it.  For him, it is like the ultimate toy.  Oh, and of course, he still loves the box.

Mathlete: “Now that you have a super cool vacuum, do you think you could do more of the vacuuming?”

No comment on this.
As an engineer, he is definitely impressed with the craftsmanship and technology that goes into the vacuum.  I am also hoping the reduction in dust in the house, and therefore his allergies, makes a big impression on him.

We have also switched to  having our cleaning people use the vacuum in the house and they love it.  I think it is a lot lighter and easier to use than the vacuum that they are traditionally used to.

So, the verdict so far:  two thumbs up for the Miele.

Wow, that is a beauty! I agree, it is very sleek and I am like H-love that it lays flat!

The laying flat is definitely awesome. It makes vacuuming under stuff so much easier.
