WTCW #36

January 25, 2012 By Shannah 1 Comment

It is Wednesday!  Time to party AND make your meal plan for next week!  I can’t help you celebrate mid-week but I can help with you with the second item.  How?  Read below for some delicious recipe inspiration!

[Crepes of Wrath], [Skinny Taste], [Framed Cooks]

Sunday:  Reading this recipe for Sonoran Pot Pie intrigued me so I had to add it to my list.

Monday:  I love the combination of sweet and spicy so Sweet and Fiery Pork Tenderloin is right up my alley!

Tuesday:  The combination of tuna, yummy bread and cheese in a Tuna Melt is my idea of a perfect sandwich.

[Cheeky Kitchen], [The Kitchn], [Recipe Girl]

Wednesday:  We’ve been hit with some pretty cold temperatures in recent days so soup is definitely {still} on my mind.  I’m going to give potato kale cottage soup a try to see if it can warm me up!

Thursday:  Pasta night!  Chicken with swiss chard pasta bake sounds a hearty meal that is sure to satisfy our pasta craving.

Friday:  We are still aiming to go meatless at least one night a week even if it isn’t always on Monday.  This week, we are going to give chickpea casserole with lemon and shallots a try.

Saturday:  My kids LOVE pizza and Mathlete loves Hawaiian pizza.  I’m trying to eat healthier so pizza doesn’t always fit in.  Cauliflower crust Hawaiian pizza might solve that problem and please us all.

What to Cook Wednesday (WTCW) is so much fun for me because I get to discover new recipes and new recipe sites!
Have a suggestion for a recipe or website I should check out to include as a feature?
Drop me an email or leave me the web address in the comments!  The only requirement is that the recipe be something that works as a main course!

All of those look sooo delicious! I’m always on the lookout for new recipes. My favorites are the ones I get from other woman who can say, yes this is a delicious, tried and true recipe!
