No Bake Fire Crackers

This recipe is an oldie, but a goodie The crackers take on the oil and seasonings to perfection, as the crackers become less crunchy and more crumbly. They are moreish and addictive. They are perfect for your favorite dip. The saltiness and spice from the red pepper flakes is the perfect combo.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup avocado oil
  • 2 ounces ranch seasoning (1/2 cup)
  • 2 tablespoons red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 4 sleeves saltine crackers (1 box)

Instructions

  • In a ziplock bag add the oil and seasonings. Close the bag and mix until combined.

  • Add the saltine crackers to the bag. Close the bag.
    4 sleeves saltine crackers (1 box)
  • Mix the crackers within the bag so as to coat the crackers. Turn the bag upside down and to the side as you mix so all the crackers are coated.

Optional

  • Let the crackers sit for 20-30 minutes. Then, spread onto large baking sheet and bake for 20-30 minutes at 300 degrees, stirring occasionally. Let cool before enjoying.

Notes

  • You can use regular, wheat, or mini saltine crackers.
  • You can store the crackers in a ziplock bag or an airtight container for up to 5 days.
