3boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into chunks
1cupasparagus pieces
1teaspoonchopped basil
Sesame seeds
Green onionschopped
Instructions
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, Dorot ginger and sesame oil. Add chicken pieces and marinate for 15 minutes.
1/3 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 Tablespoons honey, 2 cloves garlic, 4 teaspoons grated fresh ginger, 1 Tablespoon sesame oil
Heat 1 Tbsp oil in large pan over medium heat. Remove chicken from marinade, reserving it for later, and add to pan. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken is browned.
Add asparagus and leftover marinade. Bring to a boil and boil for 3-4 minutes. Reduce heat and stir in Dorot basil. Simmer for 1-2 minutes or until sauce is thickened. Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
1 cup asparagus pieces, 1 teaspoon chopped basil, Sesame seeds, Green onions
Notes
It is okay to use the marinade to create the sauce as long as it boils for at least 3 minutes to kill any potential bacteria from coming in contact with the raw chicken. Alternatively, you can make double of the marinade and reserve half to use for the sauce.
