Ingredients
1red bell peppersliced
1green bell peppersliced
1onionsliced
1tspgarlic
2tspolive oil
8ozspaghetti
15ozcan tomato sauce
1tspdried basil
1tspdried oregano
1/4cupgrated parmesan cheese
Instructions
Prepare the spaghetti for 2 minutes shorter than the package directions say. Drain.
In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add peppers and onions and saute for 5 minutes. Add garlic and saute for an additional minute.
Sprinkle basil and oregano over peppers and onions. Add tomato sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Add pasta to pepper mixture and toss to combine. Cook over medium heat for another 2 minutes. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
Notes
To freeze, put the spaghetti in a lightly greased casserole dish. Thaw the night before you want to cook it. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake, covered with foil, for 40 minutes.
