Hugo Spritz Cocktail

The Hugo Spritz is the cocktail for summer! Combining fresh citrus flavors with mint and elderflower liqueur, it is the perfect refreshment for the hot days of summer.

Ingredients

  • Ice
  • 4-6 fresh mint leaves
  • 3 lime slices
  • 1.5 ounces St. Germain or Elderflower liqueur
  • 4 ounces Prosecco
  • 2 ounces club soda

Instructions

  • Fill large glass 3/4 of the way with ice cubes.
    Ice
  • Rub mint gently between hands to release the oils. Add mint leaves and lime slices to glass with ice. Add elderflower liqueur and stir gently.
    4-6 fresh mint leaves, 3 lime slices, 1.5 ounces St. Germain or Elderflower liqueur
  • Add Prosecco and club soda. Stir gently to combine. Garnish with additional lime and mint, if desired. Serve immediately.
    4 ounces Prosecco, 2 ounces club soda

Notes

  • Ensure the prosecco and club soda are both well chilled before using. 
  • If making a batch cocktail, combine mint, lime slices, and Elderflower liqueur in pitcher. Pour into glasses with ice and top with Prosecco when serving.
