Asian Broccoli Slaw Recipe

Asian broccoli slaw is a gret combination of broccoli slaw, ramen noodles and an Asian inspired dressing.

Ingredients

Salad

  • 1 package broccoli slaw
  • 1 package Oriental ramen
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 3 Tablespoons chopped cilantro

Dressing

  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 Tablespoon soy sauce

Instructions

  • Break ramen noodles into small pieces. Set seasoning packet aside.
    1 package Oriental ramen
  • In a large bowl, combine broccoli slaw, ramen noodle pieces, almonds, and cilantro.
    1 package broccoli slaw, 1/4 cup slivered almonds, 3 Tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • In a small bowl, combine rice vinegar, packet from ramen package, sesame oil, garlic, and soy sauce. Whisk to combine.
    1/4 cup rice vinegar, 2 Tablespoons sesame oil, 2 cloves garlic, 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • Add dressing to broccoli slaw and toss to combine. Refrigerate for 15 minutes or until ready to serve.

Notes

  • If you are making this salad ahead of time, leave the crushed ramen noodles out of the salad until approximately 15 minutes prior to serving.
  • Any flavor packaged ramen can be substituted for the oriental flavor.
  • You can replace broccoli slaw with pre-cut coleslaw mix, minus the coleslaw dressing.
