Red Wine Slushies

  • 1.25 cup Sugar
  • 1.5 tsp Citric Acid
  • 750 ml Bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 3 cups Water


  1. In a food processor, combine the sugar and citric acid. Turn the machine on and let run for a minute.

  2. In a large Ziploc bag, combine the sugar mixture, water and wine. Stir very well to make sure the sugar mixture dissolves.

  3. Close the Ziploc bag and place in a second bag. Freeze for 8-10 hours or until slushy.
