Stenciled Leather Coasters

April 8, 2015 By Ginger Bergemann 26 Comments

stenciled leather coasters

Hey y’all! It’s Ginger from Gingerly Made again. I don’t know what it is, but we can’t seem to keep a set of coasters around my house! I think the kids play with them and then loose them. Usually you can only find 1 or maybe 2. So since they are prone to getting lost, I periodically need to get more. But I don’t want to spend a lot of money. So what do I do?… Hit the thrift stores. Thanks to a thrift store find and some craft supplies I already owned, I was able to make these stenciled leather coasters for $2.00!!

I was looking for some stone tile type coasters, but only found paper ones and these “Patriots Colony” tin and cork coasters. I liked the cork bottom and knew I could upcycle these into something much prettier, so even though it wasn’t what I was specifically looking for, I went with it.

3 Easy Ways to Wrap Wine Bottles

December 19, 2014 By Shannah Coe Leave a Comment

If you have ever met me, you know that I love wine which is why I am so excited to partner with Mirassou to share with you how wine makes the perfect hostess gift. Although this post was sponsored, all thoughts and opinions are my own. #MirassouHoliday

So, I am a total wine lover. If you have ever met me in real life or even talked to me online {maybe stalked my Instagram}, you know that I love to sit down and enjoy a glass of wine. Of course, when I need to take a gift to a hostess for a party or dinner, wine is my go to selection. Not only is it an easy choice but it is something almost anyone can use and enjoy. Mirassou wines are one of my favorites because they are reasonably priced (starting at about $12 per bottle) and pair well with almost any holiday dish. Of course, after selecting the perfect wine, I have to decide how to wrap it for my hostess. Here are 3 easy ways to wrap wine beyond the traditional gift bag.

Homemade Gifts: Paleo Pumpkin Granola

November 3, 2014 By Shannah Coe 3 Comments

Back in September, I quietly set about doing Whole 30 for the month. I post a few snippets here and there on Instagram but I definitely wasn’t shouting to the world that I was immersed in a whole month of new eating habits. During the month, I craved granola because I could no longer have my delicious granola bars that had become snack staples in my life. Of course, being September, I needed pumpkin too so this paleo pumpkin granola was born.

The most delicious homemade pumpkin granola and it is paleo too! Totally Whole 30 compliant.

Top Gifts for Girls

August 18, 2014 By Shannah Coe Leave a Comment

This morning, I shared all the details of H’s 7th birthday party. She chose a My Little Pony theme and she had a blast at her sleepover. I got a lot of questions as the party neared about what kinds of things she likes and what would make good gifts. I know I often struggle with the same questions so I thought I would share with you all what are considered the top gifts for girls in our household. {This post may contain affiliate links}

Great gift ideas for young girls around age 7.

December 17, 2013 By Shannah Coe 4 Comments

I was out shopping the other day for wrapping paper because I am so woefully behind on wrapping my gifts.  Sadly, I think all the good stuff has been picked over because I couldn’t find a single one I loved.  So, I bought some solid colored paper and bags and decided to personalize them and make my own glittered wrapping supplies.  Plus, this way I could get the kids involved in presents for their friends!  Glittered Wrapping Supplies with Label_wm…
