Pinworthy Projects Party – My Pinworthy Picks

December 6, 2012 By Shannah 4 Comments

December has been hectic already and we are only 6 days in! I promise there will be a link party each and every Friday but I am not 100% positive I will be able to get to features for Thursdays. We’ll just take it week to week, ok? {But, rest assured, I will still bevisiting each and every link to check you guys out!}

Ok, so let’s take a look at some of the awesomeness linked up at last week’s party!

First up, check out this great wreath upcycle from Southern Abbey!

Want to feel like you are at the beach for Christmas? Then, check out these coastal inspired Christmas decorating ideas from Decorated Chaos.

Maybe you are looking for a really unique gift idea? Crystelle Boutique took some old neckties and made them into a skirt.

We’ve had a mini-reindeer invasion in our house and I love it! Maybe I can convince Kari @ Shaken Together to send me her glitter reindeer art.

Over at Simplicity in the South, there is some gorgeous Christmas artwork that was practically free…perfect for the budget conscious crafter 🙂

I’ve never tried freezer stenciling but Tales of the Scotts makes it look so easy with her freezer stenciled deer shirt that I may have to try!

Sarah SaturDIY gave me the perfect craft to make from all the wine corks I know will come after our upcoming Christmas party…a Wine Cork Christmas tree!

The most viewed food link was…Snowkiss Cookies from the Crafted Sparrow. Pretty sure I could eat all of those…in one sitting! YUM!

And the most viewed everything else link was the Bulbous Bouffant from Ruffly Ribbons and Ramblings. If only my hair was that long…

Ok, see you back here tomorrow morning for another fun party!

Pinworthy Projects Party – My Pinworthy Picks

November 1, 2012 By Shannah 3 Comments

I hope any of my east coast readers fared well through hurricane Sandy.  We had some pretty heavy winds and a lot of rain but, thankfully, never lost power.

I loved looking through all the links from last week’s party! Let’s look at some of the awesome things linked up.

I am so in love with the idea of using tape to decorate the mantle like the one shared by Design Fluff.

Our Pinteresting Family turned a stereo cabinet into an awesome toy box. I love the red color.

Now that our bedroom is ready for furniture, I am obsessed with headboards.  This DIY farmhouse headboard, from the Turquoise Home, is so gorgeous.

How adorable are these mummy pretzels from The Crafted Sparrow?

I have a baby shower to attend soon and this monogrammed minky blanket from Wait Til Your Father Gets Home really caught my eye.

This DIY industrial hanging orb light, from Small Home and Garden Love, is really awesome.

The most viewed food link from the party was the mini cheesecake stuffed chocolate cupcakes from Becoming Martha.

This week’s most viewed “anything else” link was the embroidery hoop thread rack from Yellow Spool.

Be sure to come back tomorrow morning for an all new party!

Pinworthy Projects Party – My Pinworthy Picks

October 4, 2012 By Shannah 7 Comments

Time again to check out some of the awesome stuff linked up at last week’s Pinworthy Projects Party. You all continue to amaze me with the stuff you link up!

Let’s take a look:

Check out this decoupaged map crate shared by Simplicity in the South. It is a super cute way to decorate a playroom.

Want a cute idea for a baby gift? Check out this batman wipes case from Crafting and Creativity.

I was going through the links and these cookies caught my eye…so much so that I went to the store and bought the ingredients the same day! I will be making salted caramel puddle cookies from Life Made Simple tonight!

Fall wreaths are everywhere and I love seeing all the different versions. This ruffled burlap wreath from Wait Till Your Father Gets Home is awesome!

I wish I had seen this a few months back when we were trying to figure out where to transplant the kids’ growth charts. A jute growth chart, like this one from Shaped by Grace, would have been perfect.

We all know how much I love chalkboard everything. Check out this chalk art chandelier from It All Started with Paint.

Going forward, I will try to share the most viewed link for food and “everything else” 🙂

This week’s most viewed “everything else” link was the DIY pumpkin photo shoot from Violet Imperfections {how cute are those pictures!?}

And, the most viewed food link was the cinnamon roll muffins from The Farm Girl Recipes.

I hope I will see you back here tomorrow morning {10am sharp} for another Pinworthy Projects Linky Party.

Pinworthy Projects Party – My Pinworthy Picks

September 6, 2012 By Shannah 8 Comments

Today is one of my favorite days of the week!  I get to feature some of the fantastic projects linked up at last week’s party!

Stolen blog content has been a hot topic around the web for the past week or so.  Craftiments shared some great information on how to protect your content.

I am sitting here with football on in the background {Mathlete is watching} so these football truffles, from Pretty Providence, definitely caught my eye.

E is a huge fan of taking my keys so these DIY keys for kids, from Random Bits, are the perfect solution to help me get my keys back.

This painted area didn’t turn out exactly like she wanted over on small home love but I love the barcode quality of it!

I love displaying pictures and artwork in a way that I can change out frequently. These quilted french memory boards, from the Scrapbooking Housewife, are gorgeous and really functional.

And the link with the most views this week was…How to decorate a wedding for cheap from Pretty Providence.

Can’t wait to see you back here tomorrow morning for another fun party!

Pinworthy Projects Party – My Pinworthy Picks

August 2, 2012 By Shannah 1 Comment

What a great party we had last week! I was so excited to go through all the links and see the projects you guys linked up. There was some really amazing stuff in there!

Here were some of my favorites:

If I can ever cure my black thumb, I will know how to harvest my herbs thanks to Jessi from Practically Functional.

This family rules subway art, by Hani from Craftionary, is so super cute! I love that she included their established date!

Over at A Blessed Existence, they installed faux barn doors which look amazing.

It is almost time for school and a lot of people are trying to squeeze in one final vacation. Jessica and Sarah, from Pretty Providence, have you covered with tips on how to vacation on a budget.

Meranda, from Our Abercrombie Family, made this really cute serving platter using paint chips!

And the project with the most views this week was…the thrift store dresser transformation from Megan at My Pinteresting Family. Look at that amazing transformation…so beautiful!

Don’t forget to come back tomorrow and link up your newest stuff! Oh, and I will be announcing the winner to both giveaways at the party too!

Pinworthy Projects Party – My Pinworthy Picks

July 5, 2012 By Shannah 4 Comments

86 links at last week’s party!  You guys are awesome.  I know {fingers crossed} this week we will cross the 100 mark.

Will you help by coming back tomorrow and linking up?

Now, let’s take a look at some of the great things linked up during last week’s party!

Dresser Re-do and boating 097
Tam, over at Twelve Discovery Drive, did an amazing job re-doing this dresser using chalk paint.

Another amazing transformation is from Brandi at Don’t Disturb This Groove.  Love the fabric she chose for this upcycled thrift store bench.

Check out this adorable bathroom message board that Eva, over at Tales of the Scotts, made.  Love the chevron pattern.

My kids love blueberries so my mom is always sending a bunch from her blueberry bushes.  These delicious blueberry muffins from Natalie, at Life Made Simple, look like the perfect way to use them up.

Pink Lemonade Party 4
Check out this amazing pink lemonade birthday party from Ashley at Cherished Bliss.  Makes me want to throw a party like this for myself 🙂

And the link with the most clicks this week was…the corn on the cob kitchen tip from Random Bits.

Can’t wait to see what YOU link up tomorrow {starting at 10am ET}!

Pinworthy Projects Party – My Pinworthy Picks

June 7, 2012 By Shannah 3 Comments

Last week was another great party!  85 awesome projects were linked up…a new record.

Let’s take a look at some of the features.

I love the look of coffee filter wreaths.  Check out this great one linked up from Random Bits.

Spring/Summer planting is in full force.  Check out this topsy turvy planter that Kimberly, from Tiaras and Bowties, linked up.

Sarah, from Alderberry Hill, proved yet again that spray paint is a wonderous thing with her spray painted mason jars.

I’ve been eyeing my kitchen table for a change recently.  This DIY farmhouse table really caught my eye as an option!

As we work on finalizing our playroom, I am always drawn to unique storage ideas like this merry go round book shelf from One Dog Woof.

With Memorial Day just passed and July 4th coming soon, this patriotic wreath looks like a fabulous option for the front door.

Check out this beautiful ruffle dress that Jamie, from Scattered Thoughts of a SAHM, shared.

Need a sweet treat?  Check out these amazing looking smores cookies from the Winthrop Chronicles.

And the link with the most click this week was…the kitchen printables from Little Corbin Hill.

I hope you will come back tomorrow and link up your newest projects and recipes.
