Just tried to link up and got an error message regarding a backlink. Have you started requiring backlinks? Or was this a mistake?

No, I definitely have not started requiring backlinks 🙂 I would do that without some kind of warning. The new inlinkz widget defaulted to requiring a backlink. I fixed it now so it should work for you.

So sorry for all the craziness. The little checkbox for requiring the linkback is under the advanced menu so I had to go searching for it. I checked all the future parties so hopefully we won’t have any more problems.

Hi there! So sorry that you ran into this problem. When InLinkz switched, they defaulted old parties to require a permalink to my site on the page you are linking up. I fixed it now and it should be working fine.
Thanks for being patient with last week’s party. The backlink didn’t have the link it was supposed to look for so it just kept telling everyone they couldn’t link up.
