Our annual holiday party was a few weeks ago and I spent the weeks between Thanksgiving and the party getting everything prepared. The menu is of course a huge part of the party and that includes what types of drinks are served. In addition to our standard drinks, I always like to serve a cocktail that guests can help themselves to throughout the party. This year, that cocktail was a orange pomegranate sparkling punch.

I love to entertain and making sure every little detail is just right is always a huge priority to me. That includes paying special attention to the plates, flatware and glassware I use for the party. The right stemware really makes a difference! This year, I was able to try out the Libbey Perfect Signature Stemware (made in the USA…woot!) and it was absolutely perfect for my cocktail!

Orange Pomegranate Sparkling Punch Ingredients:

1 cup Pom Wonderful pomegranate juice
1 cup Riesling
1 bottle Prosecco
1 bottle Champagne
1 orange, peeled and cut into pieces
1 apple, cored and cut into pieces
1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
1 cup pineapple chunks

Let’s Make It:

1) In a large pitcher or drink dispenser, combine pomegranate juice, Riesling and fruit. Just before serving, add in prosecco and champagne. Serve over ice.

I served this punch in the Libbey’s Perfect Signature Auden 16oz footed glass. It was the perfect size and they slight difference from wine glasses made it a great way to distinguish it as the glass for the punch.

We all enjoyed toasting to the year to friendship and the holiday season throughout the evening.
